A Tribute to Harry Smith and the Anthology of American Folk Music

I've contributed a song to Ball of Wax's Volume 26 which serves as a tribute to Harry Everett Smith, American archivist and ethnomusicologist and native to Bellingham, WA, who was responsible for compiling the great Anthology of American Folk Music.
Ball of Wax Audio Quarterly has partnered up with American Standard Time and Hearth Music, to present a music performance celebrating the release of the tribute album, featuring many artists, including myself. The performance will be held at the Columbia City Theater on November 25th, 2011 at 8:00pm. For details, info and tickets please go here.

It is going to be a great night.

Record

I've self released a third album. The title is called Record. Eventually I plan on re-releasing it on custom vinyl. The packaging is handmade per usual. I use materials from old RCA record albums of the 1920's and 30's and materials from old photo albums, as well as pages of a train ticket receipt book. Each one includes a photo that I took from around town, along with its corresponding negative on the cover. The whole packaging corresponds with Record keeping. The album includes a track of myself and my mother singing. This one is mostly different from the first two released albums.
You can purchase the album online or in person from Wall of Sound www.wosound.com
or you can write to me directly and I will send you a copy for trade.
